Ponderosa Pines Resort
Ponderosa Pines brings the A-frame into a wooded setting. A steep roofline, dark exterior, and glazed front give the dwelling a clear identity among the trees.
02 / The architecture
The A-frame, in context.
The triangular front elevation gives the architecture its character. Dark cladding carries across the roof and sides, while warmer tones around the glazing add depth to the entrance facade. Inside, timber-lined walls and ceilings connect the sleeping area, kitchenette, and bathroom in a compact plan. Skylights and generous glazing bring light into the interior.
